 “Permanently Pressed”

Philippians 3: 7-10

“Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize…” Philippians 3:14

Given the relative ease with which people move from place to place and country to country,  citizenship has become a hot issue. Today Paul says that the citizenship he values most is not of this world at all, as he permanently presses on towards his true and lasting home.
